I don’t know about you, but I think bears are adorable. Fine, when they’re adults, they can be kind of scary, but baby bears are so so cute and they make me smile. Maybe I’m being biased (being a bear myself, of course), but I think bears might have the cutest babies in the world!

In case you guys aren’t familiar with capybaras, they’re the world’s largest living rodents. They are also absolutely adorable. We have a pair of capybaras in our local biodome (though this isn’t a picture of those specific ones) and each time we’ve paid them a visit, we have always caught them eating! This isn’t a picture of capybaras eating, but instead, of a mother capybara and her baby kissing (or nuzzling) which is pretty much equally adorable! Enjoy!

Hi,
It’s Blue Bear! I was humming the Beatles song “I am the Walrus” to myself when I realized that I had never posted a picture of a baby walrus, but that I was sure they must be cute. And I was right. Look how tiny the baby is compared to its mom! I wonder how he managed to get on her back…

Here are two adorable meerkats, (baby meerkats, might I add), who remind me of Timon from the Lion King except that they are very very fuzzy. One seems to be stealing the spotlight and blocking the other from view, but you can still see both of them. Anyway, enjoy the image!

We just came back from a beautiful trip to Orlando, Florida. This is where we stumbled upon these amazing birds. We have no idea what kind of bird this is, but they look a lot like ducks. Please let us know if you know what kind they are! Anyway, the chicks or ducklings are so tiny and fuzzy. You should have seen how fast they could run! The female and male adult birds looked majestic. Anyway, we thought we should share these aquatic birds with you guys. Enjoy!
A note 2 months later: I finally found out that these adorable guys are ducks!

This adorable basset hound puppy makes me want to melt. He/she is too adorable for words! I want to hug him, feed him and play ball with him at the same time! If I saw him I wouldn’t know which to do first. I love basset hounds’ floppy ears and this one has particularly floppy ones.

I have never had the good fortune to come across a blue jay. Thankfully it is easy to find a picture of them! This blue jay has a beautiful pattern and looks very peaceful relaxing on a branch. I love its pointy beak and the feathers on the top of its head. I just wanted to share this tiny glimpse of nature at its best.

I think that Cardinals are among my favorite birds (aside from Penguins of course). There’s a family of cardinals that have a home near my garden and I can’t help but appreciate not only how strikingly beautiful their feathers are, but also how pleasant their song is to wake up to. These cardinals in the image are adorable. I love the dark red color of the one on the right and the orange tint of the one of the left. Of course, the crown on their heads is also adorable. It seems like the bird on the left looks particularly plump. He/she must have been snacking very well on those berries.

I saw a picture of this sleepy koala and I thought it would be perfect to post here. What do you guys think? Isn’t he the chubbiest, most cuddly, sleepiest koala bear ever? I want to give him a warm blanket and a big hug.
