Is it possible to get any cuter than this tiny baby ferret as he sleeps so peacefully? From his fuzzy fur, his tiny pink nose, large pink feet and round ears…there’s nothing about him that you can’t consider to be absolutely adorable! I’d love to have a baby ferret…especially this one!

Hawks are very intimidating birds, and they apparently have extremely good vision, but like all animals they must have babies! I wanted to see what a baby/adolescent hawk looked like, and it turned out rather adorable. Unlike a lot of animals, however, you can see their adult traits even in their baby form. The eyes on this little guy look extremely sharp and alert, and he still has an air of intimidation about him, but he also has a typical baby cuteness to him as well! Notice how much chubbier he is than an adult hawk, and how soft his feathers look!

Isn’t this picture so sweet? Look how loving the mother looks as she caresses her baby! Look how tiny and fuzzy the baby orangutan is! Could a picture get much cuter than this? This is one of those special moments in time that are always the best to catch on camera. Just so you know, this picture was taken in Dresden zoo in early 2010. The mother is named Daisy, and her son, Dodi. If you click on the link below, you can read more about it.

We have always been very big Winnie the Pooh fans, and are in fact currently working on a 1000 piece photomosaic Winnie the Pooh jigsaw puzzle. When we’re done, we’ll definitely post a picture on the site. The puzzle is breathtaking and certainly hard (but fun) to complete. Anyway, of course you must be familiar with a fun, whistling, burrowing Winnie the Pooh character: gopher. We really like gopher, because he’s a really fun guy and that’s what gave us the idea to post a picture of the adorable gopher you see here. Isn’t he so cute and goofy?

I’m back to my short sequence of primate posts and today, I decided to post an image of an adorable slow loris. Blue Bear likes slow lorises so much that it is one of Blue Bear’s wishes to have one someday. Of course, that isn’t possible, but it’d be great to even see one in person, and we have yet to do that!
Anyway, I did mention that this slow loris seemed particularly curious. What do you think has caught his attention? I bet there’s some yummy snack coming his way. Aside from that, doesn’t he have the softest looking fur, the most adorable eyes, and the most kissable nose? What a cutie!

Following Blue Bear’s Easter theme idea, I decided to post this absolutely adorable video of baby chickens (chicks). These guys are the most energetic, noisy, fluffy, floppy, adorable guys around. You have to see this. Not only are the soft yellow baby chicks irresistibly adorable, but their mother hen certainly adds to the cuteness factor of this video. There’s really nothing more to say than this. You have to check this video out!
Hi everybody! It’s easter, and you know what that means… Easter bunnies! I’m here with Penguin and we just finished a fun easter dinner with my family, and we decided to pop on here and make a little post for everyone. Look at these fuzzy little baby bunnies! Now, I can’t be 100% sure that these two are celebrating Easter, but I’m just going to assume, for thematic purposes, that they are! Aren’t they adorable with their little bed? It looks very comfy in there!

Here we have yet another set of primates (our third primate photo on the site, to be exact). How absolutely tiny and cute does this baby baboon look, all surrounded by his much larger friends/family? Look at his adorably large pink ears and sweet eyes! And it seems that his baboon friends/family are very good at protecting their precious charge. It’s easy to tell that this tiny little guy is much loved and cared for.

I never knew that lemurs were primates, (that’s right, just like us humans), until Blue Bear and I visited our local Biodome about 3 years ago when they had a Madagascar exhibit. This is the first and only time I ever saw a ring-tailed lemur, or any lemur at all! Lemurs are really adorable. The specific lemurs you see here – mother and child – are from the Singapore zoo. (If you check the link below, there’s another picture of the pair). I chose to post this specific picture for a couple of reasons. First of all, it’s a picture of an adorable mother lemur and her adorable baby; secondly, the mother is chomping away at what appears to be a slice of mango, and it’s always fun to see animals eat; and finally, the baby looks particularly adorable all cuddled up in his mother’s fur!

Now I know that bees and other insects aren’t generally considered cute, but I found a really great picture of a bumblebee that conveniently omits their less-than-appealing faces in favour of showing off their cool wings and fuzzy little bodies. In addition to these benefits, bees also have the ability to make honey, a very tasty product! We have to, at least, thank them for that yummy dessert food!
