Penguin here.

Yesterday was my birthday, and in honour of the occasion, Blue Bear sent me a picture of the goofy penguin cake you see below, because I love penguins. My sister, meanwhile, sent me this picture of these adorable little mini pigs. Don’t you wish you could partake in this scrumptious and adorable penguin cake, and then proceed to hang out with these sweet little piglets? I know I do!

Penguin here.

I have to say that this little kangaroo rat buddy looks like he is plotting a scheme, mainly because of the adorable pose he’s in.

Kangaroo rats are North American rodents, not marsupials, in spite of their name which is derived from the way they hop on their rather large hind legs. According Wikipedia’s kangaroo rat article, kangaroo rats primarily eat seeds, and can grow to weigh from anywhere between 70 to 170 g; however males are larger than females.

Penguin here.

Stop for a second, and observe the adorable image before you attentively. What makes it so cute? There are too many things to name. First of all, this little hamster looks so sweet in his sleep. He’s also very tiny and fuzzy, with the smallest, pinkest, paw. But, did you also notice that the hamster is using a kleenex for a blanket? That has to be one of the cutest things ever.

Penguin here.

This sloth whose name is Sjakie is actually from the Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands. According to Spiegel Online, the teddy bear is being used as a surrogate to help feed the sloth, because Sjakie’s mother wasn’t producing sufficient milk. Sjakie had to be fed by syringe, but since sloths love to cuddle when they eat, the teddy was an important addition to meal time. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever?

Blue Bear and Penguin here.

We stumbled upon this adorable article on buzzfeed which you can see in its full splendor here. There seemed to be a controversy over whether the cutie in question was a chipmunk or a squirrel. We see how the markings on his/her back could make this a confusing subject, but this is in fact a gold-mantled ground squirrel and an unbelievably adorable one at that!
