The blue-footed booby is a marine bird so-named because of its striking blue feet. According to Wikiepdia’s blue-footed booby article, both males and females prefer mates with bright blue feet: the brighter, the better.

I found an adorable picture of a blue-footed booby and a goofy little fledgling. It was so cute, that I just had to share it with you guys.

The site on which I found this adorable image also had a goofy video of the mating dance of the blue-footed booby. You guys have to check this out!

Colugo? What on Earth is that? I had never heard of them either until I stumbled upon this neat article on reddit.

Colugos are nocturnal tree-dwelling gliding mammals from Southeast Asia. You can read about them at ferrebeekeeper or you can check out Wikipedia’s colugo article of course.

Be sure to note that the mother and baby both have adorable and sweet faces. Look at those giant eyes, pink noses and ears!

Penguin here.

I first saw a chinchilla when I was a little kid on vacation with my parents and sister. We went into the largest pet shop I had ever seen, and saw a bunch of fuzzy little chinchillas that to me resembled something between a gerbil and a guinea pig. Chinchillas are very different rodents of course, and adorable in their own right. They actually originate from the Andes and you could read all about them in Wikipedia’s Chinchilla article.

Blue Bear surprised me with this goofy picture early this morning to help inspire me for the day. I love dachshunds, so what could possibly be better than a picture of a dachshund doggy with her one-day-old puppies? This is too cute and sweet. Thanks Blue Bear!

Like most (if not all) Australian marsupials, wombats are goofy not-so-little creatures weighing anywhere between 20 to 35 kg according to Wikipedia’s wombat article. They have goofy ears, funny noses, and sweet eyes, and certainly look incredibly huggable. I would love the opportunity to hug one, wouldn’t you?

Penguin and Blue Bear here.

A little while ago, Penguin posted a picture of an adorable hamster eating broccoli. The other day, Blue Bear read an article where the same hamster was featured, in gif form! This of course, is very good luck, because if you though that the motionless picture was cute, watch when you see this little hammy in full action. That broccoli looks super delicious; especially after witnessing his feet-flopping enjoyment of it.
