Penguin here.

These adorable bunnies are not only sleepy, and adorable, but one of them is even yawning. Aren’t bunny yawns the cutest? Awww! Did you notice how pink their noses were and how they have the same markings, only in different colours? These rabbits are just so cute.

Today was a bit of a rough day, so two very kind people, Blue Bear, and my mom, sent me these adorable pictures to help cheer me up.

Here they are (and I hope they make you smile too):

I just made a post, but I felt the need to make another quickly concerning a baby red panda named Rusty who has gone missing from the National Zoo in Washington DC. According to the authorities at the zoo, he is most likely sleeping a tree somewhere in or near the zoo, because that’s what red pandas like to do when it’s warm (which, by the way, is very cute). They also say that if you do spot him, you shouldn’t try to catch him, but to instead call this number – 202.633.488 – to let them know so they can come and get him safely and bring him home to his family. If you’re in the Washington D.C. area, be on the lookout for this adorable guy.

UPDATE: Rusty has been found and returned. You can see a photo of him getting a checkup to see if he caught anything while he was out here. Welcome home, Rusty.

Hey everyone. We got this picture of a waterbird from Ghana from a friend of my dad’s named Agyeman Opoku and thought that it was an adorable little family. Here’s the issue, though. I can’t figure out what kind of bird this is! Its chicks look like duck chicks, but it doesn’t look like a duck. Is it, possibly, an adoptive mother of some ducklings? I really can’t tell. I tried to look into species of birds in Ghana but couldn’t find anything that resembled it. Does anybody know what it is, and if its chicks actually look like that or if it’s an adoptive mother? Here’s the picture:

According to the The Canadian Encyclopedia’s Squirrel article, most ground squirrels hibernate while tree squirrels are active all year long. The squirrels in this picture are ground squirrels, and young ones at that. Aren’t they so adorable? They look so goofy and curious. I love their relatively large eyes and tiny little ears. These guys are just too cute.

What a tender moment to have caught on camera! I love this sweet picture of a sea lion mother kissing her pup. It really just makes go “awwwW” uncontrollably. I hope you find someone you love and share some affection with them today as well.

Have you ever heard of a mouse lemur? According to Wikipedia’s Mouse Lemur article, these fuzzy buddies are actually the smallest primates, and Madame Berthe’s mouse lemur is the smallest of all, averaging a body length of 92 mm (3.6 in) and weighing in at 30 g or 1.1 oz. Doesn’t that just make them seem even cuter? GAH! I’d love to hold one.

I am a huge fan of pigs. When I noticed that we hadn’t posted any in a while, and found this little piggy, I knew he would be the topic of today’s post. Just so you are aware, a sus scrofa is simply the word for a wild boar, or wild pig, and this is actually the wild ancestor of today’s domestic pigs according to Wikipedia’s Wild Boar article. This young pig in particular certainly has gotten his little snout dirty in those autumn leaves! What a goofy guy. I bet he had fun sniffing around, don’t you?
