I suppose all animals are sleepy when they’re newborn, but this particular wombat looks even comfier and sleepier than usual to me. Look at how pink the little guy is! Also, notice he’s not quite hairless at the moment. He’s got some hair on his cheek, as well as near his nose – and he’s got a few near his eyes as well!

This particular picture is from one of our favourite websites here at ACAD, Zooborns. Check the rest of their site out here for more adorable newborn baby animals.

This picture convinces me that there should definitely be a duckling somewhere within the cast of Winnie the Pooh. Look how friendly the duckling and piglet are in this particular picture. They’re hanging out, having different (but adorable) noses and just being pals. Notice the duck’s feet – which are enormous for his size!

My friend George started up a photography website recently as a portfolio and one of the pictures he’d put on it was that of an adorable (and chubby) squirrel outside in the snow. Take a look at the rest of his photos here. Here’s the picture of the squirrel:

Penguin here.

Aardvarks are very goofy creatures. According to Wikipedia’s aardvark article, aardvarks are nocturnal, burrowing animals native to Africa and they reach weights between 60 and 80 kg (130 and 180 lb).

This aardvark was born in March 2013 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay:

Hey everyone. So today I decided to post a picture I got a while ago from my dad’s friend Al. I had completely forgotten about it, but he sent us these pictures in November 2013. We’ve got two pictures for you guys – the first is from when Gage was 6 weeks old, and the next was from when he was 4 months old. What a difference two and a half months makes!

We’ll try to get another picture, soon, of him at his current age to see how he looks now. I get the feeling he’ll be a big guy!

Penguin sent me this article earlier and I just had to post it. Apparently there was an oil spill in Australia and people have made many adorable little sweaters for these cuteys to wear to prevent them from eating oil while trying to clean it off. Regardless of the reason for it, the sweaters make them look adorable. Check out the rest of the article here for more details and pictures of these cute little friends.
