This is a really goofy picture. I wonder why the groundhog babies (or woodchucks, if you prefer) are on top of their mom… No matter the reason, this makes an adorable family portrait, don’t you think?

I stumbled upon this picture, and I’m actually not quite sure which species of frog these guys belong to, but I think they’re incredibly goofy and adorable. I think these two are in an adorable pose. I hope you enjoy!

I can’t resist this picture. I think it’s just too adorable. Seriously, just look at that little elephant cub compared to the size of his parent. Look at that tiny trunk and those little arms! Look at those floppy ears! Don’t you just want to kiss the little guy?

According to Wikipedia’s tapir article, Baird’s tapir lives in Central America and Northern South America and is actually Central America’s largest land mammal at approximately 2 meters in length and weighing between 150 and 400kg.
I think this is a very sweet picture of the mother and her baby. I love the adorable markings on the baby. Tapirs are certainly very strange looking animals, but this is part of what makes them so cute.

Aren’t fennec foxes just unbelievably adorable with their super large ears, soft fur and kissable faces? Oh my, fennec foxes are soooo cute. These three young ones in particular not only look adorable, but are behaving in a goofy way as well. What do you think they’re scoping out over the ledge?

Woah, Father’s Day is almost over! I almost missed my time to make this post! For this one, I asked my sister what fathers there are in the animal world that would make for a cute picture and she responded “Simba and Mufasa”. She makes a good point, he’s a great dad! Of course, I wanted a picture of real lions to make this post, so I found this one of a cute little cub playing with a stick that his dad (who is having a bad hair day!) has in his mouth at the Denver Zoo. Check it out!

We will be making 2 posts in honour of father’s day (though we certainly should have made many more on that topic). Like mommies, animal fathers are also very important in nature, just like Blue Bear’s dad and my father are to us.
Here is an English bulldog father with his puppy. Don’t they look like they’re having so much fun together? Clearly the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Hey guys. My dad sent me an email today with lots of pictures of cute animals and this one really stood out to me as the best picture of the bunch. Owls can sometimes look a bit scary because they have piercing eyes and sharp beaks, but these two look so soft, comfortable, and cuddly. They couldn’t possibly be scary (in this picture, at least!). What an incredibly beautiful picture:

I love this picture. I think it’s absolutely adorable how these downy cygnets are taking a ride on mommy or daddy’s back.
According to AvianWeb.com, cygnets usually hatch between June and July and within 24 hours, they can leave their nest; within 48 hours, they can actually swim and even dive! The parents both take care of their cygnets, feeding and protecting them.

I was actually looking for something different altogether – a picture of a wolverine, actually – when I stumbled upon these little buddies. I couldn’t help myself and I knew I had to post this picture on ACAD. So what do you guys think? Aren’t these little goats absolutely adorable? And how about the cute little doggy in the background? I bet they’re all great friends.
