Penguin here.

I have to say that I’m rather confused about what is taking place in this adorable image. It seriously looks like the moose and her calf are goofing out to pose for a family picture. Whatever the case, it made me smile, and I hope it has the same effect on you.

As I’ve mentioned in earlier bat posts, I really had never found bats to be all that cute, but the more pictures I see of them, the more I realize how dreadfully wrong I was!
Take this little friendly bat, for example. Have you ever seen animal ears do their very own choreography? I think not. Did you ever see such fuzziness, such sweet eyes, and such a goofy nose? Oh my goodness, I would love to meet this little bat buddy.

Penguin and Blue Bear here.

A little while ago, Penguin posted a picture of an adorable hamster eating broccoli. The other day, Blue Bear read an article where the same hamster was featured, in gif form! This of course, is very good luck, because if you though that the motionless picture was cute, watch when you see this little hammy in full action. That broccoli looks super delicious; especially after witnessing his feet-flopping enjoyment of it.

Tea parties have always seemed like something fun to me, but this has got to be the cutest one ever. First of all, the tea cups have little bears on them; secondly, there are hamsters in attendance! This party is so goofy. Wouldn’t you just love to take part? By the way, did you notice that one of these hammies is clearly not understanding that a tea cup is not something to put your little schnoz in?

I can’t help but wonder how that golden retriever puppy got there, and if Mother Hen realizes what it is she’s sitting on. This is so cute. I hope her little chick on the left doesn’t feel too left out. There is just so much goofiness in this picture!

I love the expression on the mother’s face as she watches her tiny calf attempting to stand, but unfortunately failing (in a hilarious way). This picture really made me laugh. I can’t help but feel a little bad for this adorable calf, and his/her rather surprised mother, but this is truly a great moment to have caught on camera.

I have to say that this little kangaroo rat buddy looks like he is plotting a scheme, mainly because of the adorable pose he’s in.

Kangaroo rats are North American rodents, not marsupials, in spite of their name which is derived from the way they hop on their rather large hind legs. According Wikipedia’s kangaroo rat article, kangaroo rats primarily eat seeds, and can grow to weigh from anywhere between 70 to 170 g; however males are larger than females.

Look at this friendly guy. It’s easy to see why people would call this sweetheart a honey bear!

Kinkajous belong to the Procyonidae family, and are therefore related to raccoons and coatis. According to Wikipedia’s kinkajou article, the kinkajou is a nocturnal mammal living in Central and South American rainforests. They have two coats: a golden outer coat, covering a grey one underneath. A full-grown kinkajou will reach weigh anywhere between 3 to 10 lbs.

I have absolutely never heard of a coati until about 1 minute ago when I stumbled upon this cutie. In case you haven’t either, here’s the lowdown on coatis (aside from the obvious: adorable ears, cute large nose, sweet eyes). According to Wikipedia’s Coati article, these sweeties are omnivorous diurnal (as opposed to nocturnal) creatures related to raccoons. They can be found in South, Central, and South-Western North America. They are roughly the size of a house cat, weighing in at 2-8 kg and up to 69 cm in length (including their tail).
So, what do you guys think? I wonder how I never heard of this adorable animal before.
