The other day we heard of an animal we had never learned of before: the mara. At first glance, we thought that the mara looked like some kind of cross between a rabbit and a capybara. It turns out that maras are rodents like them. They are actually the fourth largest rodents trailing the capybara, the beaver, and the porcupine.
