Penguin here.

In honour of Earth Day (which was yesterday, I know), Blue Bear and I decided to post a picture of pandas, since the panda is the WWF’s (World Wildlife Fund’s) logo. This is their site worldwildlife.org and a Canadian version of their site can be found here: WWF Canada. The WWF was founded in 1961 and has been striving for the conservation of wildlife ever since. It is active in 100 countries. You should definitely read more about them and their current projects on their site. A special thanks to them and other similar foundations that are out there to conserve the spectacular world we live in. We are so lucky to have so many cute and beautiful plants and animals around us. We need to do all we can to help them survive for our benefit, for their benefit, and for our planet.

Penguin here.

This little panda cub is just about the cutest little buddy ever, don’t you think? He looks like he’s having such a fun time. It makes me think about the great times I used to have in parks during my childhood days. I absolutely love this fuzzy panda picture. What a cutie.

Penguin here.

It’s time to parttttyyyyyy! Well, I must admit that it’s more of a party for the panda bear than for me, because I don’t think I’d personally enjoy partaking in a slice of bamboo birthday cake… However, I certainly would enjoy watching the panda eat it.

Penguin here.

Have you guys heard of the recent giant panda bear births at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center in China? Well, there was an adorable video of them this week which you should definitely check out here from cnn. You don’t want to miss this one.

So, today I’m posting a picture of a giant panda bear and her cub. The picture is from Zoo Atlanta and was taken in 2006. I think this is an absolutely adorable picture of panda bear cuddles!

Penguin here.

Whoever managed to catch this adorable scene on camera was very lucky with his or her timing. I wonder how the second panda will climb up once the first one reaches its destination. I also wonder how these two planned out this rather challenging endeavour. Either way, you can tell that these pandas are an excellent set of friends and the one on the bottom is certainly a very helpful bear.

If there’s ever been a friendship that’s simultaneously the strongest, and the most adorable in the world, it’s that between a mother and her child.  This picture of a baby panda and his/her mommy is absolutely beautiful, and extremely cute.  Note the extreme size difference between the mommy and the baby!  The baby panda is such a tiny little one, and the mommy is very large – She’d never be too large, nor he too small, though, for her to ignore him! They’re best friends, for sure!

I don’t know if a baby Panda is actually called a cub, but this guy’s a teeny little cutey! Of course he has the usual panda markings, but most pandas don’t fit in little plastic box like this! His ears and nose are especially cute, and I’d give him a nice cuddle, because I’m sure he’d love one! What a fluffster this guy is!
