Something tells me this little hamster gourmet, or rather, gourmand, isn’t going to be sharing that rather large strawberry with his hamster buddy any time soon. That’s okay, though; we can forgive him, because he certainly looks adorable trying to stuff that monstrous berry into his tiny little mouth.

I don’t think I ever spoke to you guys about my hamsters. Well, I grew up with hamsters (and one gerbil, as well as two goldfish). When I was born, we had a gerbil named Digger. I don’t remember much about him except that he had quite a long tail. After Digger came two hamsters, one called Fuzzy (who was so-named for a very good reason), and the other Piglet, an adorable albino hamster. We then had a dwarf hamster named Fur Ball who was always very energetic. After Fur Ball came Murray, who was a very gentle hamster. Following Murray, we had a hamster named Vince and finally, one named Rocky. It has been nine years since we last had a pet around the house. These little guys in this picture made me think about my hamsters. They were always fun to have around and each one had a very special character of his own. I miss them and felt that I should mention them here. I’ll be sure to bring them up in the future since there are many stories to tell.
Unfortunately, I will have to fish around for pictures of my hamsters, but I’m sure you will be content with these adorable little hammies for the moment. Aren’t they soooo cute?
