Penguin here.

This little panda cub is just about the cutest little buddy ever, don’t you think? He looks like he’s having such a fun time. It makes me think about the great times I used to have in parks during my childhood days. I absolutely love this fuzzy panda picture. What a cutie.

Penguin here.

This picture made me crack up as soon as I saw it. This bear is absolutely adorable and, undeniably, we can all say we’ve felt exactly the way he/she does…many times. This picture represents how I feel every day at 6 o’clock. What a cute bear. I wish I could give him/her a pot of honey.

PS: Sorry about all the puns, but I couldn’t resist…

Penguin here.

I have always been a major Winnie the Pooh fan. I even have my own Winnie the Pooh collection comprised of diverse things ranging from mugs to notebooks to jigsaw puzzles to pens, all of which I accumulated while growing up. There’s something really special about that silly old bear and his friends. I just can’t help but smile when I see a picture of them or watch an episode of the show.
Anyway, today marks the final Pooh-related post.
Here’s a picture of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Christopher Robin, Roo, and Piglet all dressed as pirates.

The real-life Winnie was actually a bear named Winnipeg. He was initially the mascot for the 2nd Canadian infantry brigade (who were active in World War 1 and who were made up mostly of Western Canadians)*. He was later donated to the London Zoo where he became a very popular attraction. If you’re interested in watching a short video from cbcnews about the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh, you should check it out here.

A special thanks to A.A Milne (author) and E.H Shepard (illustrator) for bringing Winnie the Pooh and Friends to life and to Disney for keeping the tradition going.
