Hi everyone! Today’s post serves two purposes. First of all, it’s to give you a daily dose of cute polar bear. Secondly, it’s to remind you that you have to change your clocks tonight by putting them one hour back. What will you guys be doing with your extra hour? I plan to do what this friendly little cub is doing here: catch up on some much-needed snooze time (and hopefully look even 1/4 as cute doing so).

My sister shared this adorable picture with me yesterday and my first reaction was: “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Is it physically possible to be so cute?” Then I knew what I had to do: I had to share it with you guys. This tiny little hammy is so tiny and so sweet. Look at that head, those feet, that fuzziness! I wish it could be my hand holding him!

Today’s post features an adorable soft, wrinkly, little chipmunk. This sweetie definitely ranks high on the cute meter. Just look at every one of his features! Everything about him is tiny. I love his pink nose, tiny ears, adorable closed eyes, little legs, tail… What is there not to like?

Did you know that sloths’ hair grows in an opposite direction from most other mammals? According to Wikipedia’s sloth article, mammals’ hair usual grows toward the extremities. This is not the case for the sloth who is mostly hanging upside down from trees and requires the hair to grow in an opposite way for protection from the environment.

We all definitely have one thing in common: sleeping! Why is it that when it’s bedtime, you never really want to sleep, but then when it’s time to get out of bed in the morning, you don’t want to wake up? I’ll never be able to figure out why that is exactly… Anyway, as we all know, just like us, animals sleep too and they look super cute doing it, which is why we are having a sleeping animals special here on ACAD. This week on ACAD we will be celebrating Easter animals. That’s right: if you like bunnies, chickens, and lambs, you’ve come to the right place! If you like cute animals in general, then you’ve also come to the right place!
These two little bunnsters look like they’ve had an exciting day and are ready to sleep it all off. These bunnies are sooo fuzzy and sweet. I love their little closed eyes. I love their adorable ears. I love how soft they are and how they’re cuddling together. In short, there’s nothing not to like about them!

Most of the time that you find a picture of a koala, the koala in question is usually sleeping, all curled up against a tree (or against another koala who is against a tree). This picture is no different. However, just because most koala pictures do have the same subject matter, it doesn’t mean that they’re not special. Just look at this little bugger! He’s so chubby and soft looking. Look at those fuzzy ears! I seriously wouldn’t mind cuddling up with him right now and taking a nap. What do you guys think?

Look at this sleepy little koala… I’ve noticed that Koalas are often sleeping, and they always look comfortable, but what’s strange is that the positions in which they sleep never look comfortable to me. I like to sleep on my side, on solid ground, but Koalas are always sleeping while hugging rugged tree branches. I guess they’re brave little guys, to sleep hanging from a tree like that. Yep, I’ll definitely stick to sleeping on the ground… Trees just look too dangerous! (I’m sure this guy will be fine, though)
